Block-printing workshop in JAIPUR, INDIA

November 2026

10 days of culture, craft and discovery

Why join this journey?

Explore the living textile traditions of Rajasthan with me as we journey through the palaces, markets, and artisan towns of Northwest India. Over 10 carefully curated days, we’ll move between history and craft – walking through ancient forts, sharing meals in community kitchens, and working side by side with multi-generational block printers in Bagru. This is a chance to see India’s culture not only in its monuments, but in its patterns, its rituals and its people.

LIMITED TO 10 PARTICIPANTS!

Where the journey takes place

This 10-day journey moves through the heart of Northwest India:

  • Delhi, the capital where empires rose and fell, a city of contrasts between the ancient and the modern.

  • Agra, home to the Taj Mahal and the red sandstone forts of the Mughal dynasty.

  • Jaipur, Rajasthan’s “Pink City,” filled with palaces, observatories, and bustling bazaars.

  • Bagru, a small town on the outskirts of Jaipur, known for its centuries-old tradition of hand block printing.

What will we experience

During the 10 days we wil be combining culture, history, and craft. In Delhi, we will see iconic landmarks and explore the Crafts Museum, which showcases India’s rich textile and craft traditions. In Agra, we will experience the grandeur of Mughal architecture, including the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Jaipur, the “Pink City,” offers palaces, observatories, and vibrant markets.

The highlight of the trip is Bagru, a small artisan town where hand block printing has been practiced for generations. Here, you’ll meet master artisans and create your own printed textile under their guidance. Optional experiences, such as Ayurveda treatments, visiting paper-making studio, or astrology readings provide deeper insight into Rajasthan’s living culture.

Why travel with me?

As a surface pattern designer, I’ve collaborated with Indian block printers to create my own collections. I want you to feel what I felt – the scent of natural dyes, the rhythm of wooden blocks striking fabric, the warmth of artisans who pass down their craft through centuries.
